Your experience will begin at your Bangkok hotel when the driver picks you up in the morning. Then you take a small boat for 40 minutes and cruise along the river channels to your destination. You will be warmly welcomed by Khun Pip and her family and she will share with you over 20 years of experience in preparing traditional Thai dishes. You can even sleep there a night or two. This will be much more than just a simple cooking class.
Thanatharee is an old rice barge from the 40s that has been transformed into a luxury cruiser in Ayutthaya. It will take you from Bangkok up the Chao Phraya River to the rich Central Plains where you can see the traditional way of life of rural communities and meet the locals. We offer you one, two and three day trips. They will include different daily activities depending on which day of the week you will have the tour. You will have the opportunity to learn about the daily life of agricultural and craft communities that are scattered across the landscape. You will also meet the locals, farmers, craftsmen and school children and enjoy rewarding social interaction and cultural exchange.
