DAY 1: Panama City

Meet and Great upon arrival at Tocumen international airport by your local guide, then private transfer to your hotel in Panama City.

DAY 2: Panama City

Start early in the morning, accompanied by your local guide for a tour to explore the ruins and museum of "Panama la Vieja first city founded by the Spanish colonialists in 1519. (Entrance to the watchtower included). We will continue to the colonial area: Casco Viejo, neighbourhood declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980.

Lunch included in a charming restaurant (Excluding drinks) Cotinuation towards the canal zone to Visit the Miraflores Locks, where you can follow the technical operations of the canal from a platform.

THE PANAMA CANAL Begun in 1881 and the first boat crossed in August 15 of 1914. This Canal is considered as the Eighth wonder of the modern world

DAY 3: Panama City

In the morning, pick up in your hotel and road to the Lake Gatún where natural life (endemic flora and fauna) run at its edges. Prepare yourself for a cultural encounter with the indigenous community “Embera”.

Upon arrival, you will embark on a 20 min canoe ride towards the community.

These communities still live completely in a traditional way, developing natural fibre baskets, colourful clothes, paintings and timeless dances. The Embera people will welcome you with traditional music.

One of the village chiefs will present their lifestyle and traditions:

Introduction to traditional Embera crafting (basketry, wood carving and jewellery making). Nature Walk and explanation of Embera medicine and in particular the benefits of certain plants. Representation of their traditional dances. Typical lunch based on fish and plantains is included. As a dessert fresh exotic fruits will be beautifully served. Bottled water included. Lunch, dinner and breakfast in the community.

This day tour is based on the cultural exchanges, simplicity and humility.

DAY 4: Panama City - Chitre

Private Transfer in the morning to Albrook’s National Airport for your flight to Chitré. Meet and great y one of our representative at the airport

Head to the salt extraction of Pacific Ocean where villagers use the same technique as the ancient indigenous communities.

Then, continue to La Arena's village where you will discover the art of crafts and pottery; you will also participate in the production of the traditional bread "Pan de la Arena" (sand's brad).

Later on, you will have the opportunity to see the making of the “Pollera”, the traditional dress; then visit the workshops of local handicrafts manufacturers of Diablicos masks (devils' masks), drums and gold jewellery that form part of national culture.

DAY 5: Chitre

Leave in the early morning to the pier where you will embark in a rapid boat to Isla Iguana. Isla Iguana National Park is a marine refuge located 8 km from the coast.

The island is famous for its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, mangrove swamps and coral reefs.

You might spot dolphins and small harmless sharks. You can even spot turtles (between June and October). Take this opportunity to explore the island and the coral reefs with your guide and the lay on a heavenly. Picnic lunch included. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

DAY 6: Chitre - Playa Blanca

After your lunch private transfer to your hotel on the pacific coast. Afternoon off to enjoy the facilities of your hotel.
