DAY 1: Mandalay

From the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. Free and leisure at your hotel or enjoy the city.

DAY 2: Mandalay

A day of exploring the ancient capitals close to Mandalay. Our first will be to the ancient royal capital of Amarapura. Here we will visit the Mahagandayon Monastery, a school for young monks, and U Bein Bridge, a more than 200 year old structure and the longest teakwood bridge in the world. We will spend the day exploring the city’s sites with highlights including the Mahamuni Pagoda, the wood-carved Shwenandaw Monastery and the world’s largest book at Kuthodaw Pagoda. In the evening, enjoy yet another spectacular sunset from the top of Mandalay Hill.

DAY 3: Mandalay - Hsipaw

Early morning we will drive to Pyin Oo Lwin and transfer to train station and take a train to Hsipaw and enjoying cross the Gote-htake bridge which is most popular and highest in the world. Arrive to Hsipaw in evening and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 4: Hsipaw

Start walking from Hotel along Tai (Shan) Villages and seasonal vegetable crop, rice paddy along natural spring and stream. Reach Palaung (minority) village, have local lunch in a house rest a bit. Take afternoon walk through tea crops and pine woods; for couple hours and reach farther minority village, stay overnight.

Lunch and dinner (traditional shan menu) will be served. Overnight at local village house.

DAY 5: Hsipaw - Mandalay

Start walking after local breakfast along little forest for several hours and have break and lunch at a charming beautiful Tai (Shan) village. Take afternoon walk along farther Tai villages at down slope and eventually reach Hi-way road get pick up get pickup back to hotel. Then drive back to Mandalay.

DAY 6: Mandalay - Bagan

Transfer to jetty at 5 am in the morning and we’ll have to check in 30 minutes ahead of cast off time. It departs at 6 am and it will take the whole day to arrive Bagan around 5 pm. On the way we will visit one of the typical villages on the Ayeyarwaddy river bank.

Lunch on board.

DAY 7: Bagan

After breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy a Bagan Archaeological Tour which takes in famous sites including Damayarzaka Pagoda, Shwegugyi, Thabyinnyu. Other highlights include Shwesandaw, for its panoramic view of the temples, the mural paintings at Gubyukggyi and Abeyadana Temple, which is famed for its mural paintings about Mahayana Buddhism. In the afternoon, we will visit a traditional lacquerware shop to see these unique products made before enjoying Bagan’s famous sunset from atop one of the temples.

DAY 8: Bagan - Kanpetlet

Drive to Kanpetlet about (8hrs). Along the trip, we will pass the towns and villages of Chauk, Seik Phyu, Kanzanma and Saw. At Saw we will have lunch with local food at small home restaurant (clients own arrangement). After lunch, continue drive to Kanpetlet, from Saw to Kanpetlet is rough mountainous road and it takes about 3 hours to reach our destination. Arrive at Kanpalet in the late afternoon.

Lunch and dinner will be served at local village. (simple)

DAY 9: Kanpetlet - Aye Sakan

Breakfast at the Resort; Drive up to about 10 miles from the top of Mt.Victoria (about 2 hours driving along mountain road). Along the way we can observe many rare forms of flora and fauna. We also have a chance to see rare birds which are preserved and can be found only in Myanmar, both native and migratory birds, rare species of Myanmar Orchids, and many species of plants and butterflies. Then continue drive to Mindat. Lunch and dinner will be served at local village. (simple)

DAY 10: Aye Sakan - Mindat

After breakfast, drive to Kyar Tong Village (30 minutes’ drive) then hike about one hour to the village. When you reach the village you can study the Chin graveyard, visit a famous local hunter, where he has proudly mounted all of his hunting trophies in his home. Also visit the Tattoo peoples and see their traditional way of life. Then return to Mindat.

DAY 11: Mindat - Bagan

After breakfast, morning drive back to Bagan. Lunch at Saw and arrive Bagan in the evening. And transfer to Hotel.

Lunch will be at local restaurant.

DAY 12: Bagan - Inle lake

Breakfast at hotel, we will transfer to airport for your flight to Heho. And then we will take board a private motorised boat and take a sightseeing tour of the lake. Highlights on the lake tour include five day market (if coincide), floating gardens, Inn Paw Khone village to witness the lotus and silk weaving industries, the floating village of Ywama, Phaungaw Daw Oo Pagoda, the museum-like Nge Phe Kyaung monastery, Se Gaung Village, which is famous for its blacksmith industry.

DAY 13: Inle Lake - Inle lake

In the morning, we will pay a visit to the 17th century pagodas at Indein and traverse some of the narrow creeks that make up the denser areas of the lake. Explore Pao villages after two or three hours and then we walk back to the jetty.

DAY 14: Inle Lake - Ngapali

Transfer from your domestic airport to Thandwe for Ngapali Beach. Relax and enjoy free time at the beach, the country’s premier beach destination.

DAY 15: Ngapali

DAY 16: Ngapali - Yangon

Transfer to Thandwe Airport to take your flight to Yangon. Upon arrive to Yangon we will take a sightseeing tour of the city, which includes visits to the Reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi and the National Museum, which is filled with many exhibits and artifacts from Myanmar’s past. We will then visit the bustling Chinatown area before an opportunity to shop for traditional gifts at the famous Scott Market (also known as Bogyoke Aung San Market) and a visit to the remarkable Shwedagon Pagoda, which towers over the city and is the most highly-revered religious structure in the country. It is a sight that no visitor to Myanmar should miss.

DAY 17: Yangon

That day we will visit the riverside Botahtaung Pagoda, which contains many fascinating relics. We will visit to continue sightseeing features a scenic photo stops on beautiful Kandawgyi Lake before finishing the day. And then we will visit the exploring Yangon’s bustling downtown area, which is said to have the highest collection of colonial-era buildings in Southeast Asia. Of particular interest is the wide Pansodan Street, which houses numerous beautiful buildings as well as street side bookstalls.

DAY 18: Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo

After breakfast, drive to Kyaiktiyo (about 5 hours), site of the famous ‘Golden Rock’, one of Myanmar’s most important Buddhist sites. The rock balances precariously on the mountain’s edge, seemingly defying gravity, and this is said to be due to a well-placed strand of the Buddha’s hair.

To reach the top of the mountain we take a truck near the top, then complete the journey with a 45 minute walk to the very top to enjoy some well-earned views across beautiful Mon State. Spend the night at the top of this beautiful mountain.

DAY 19: Kyaikhtiyo - Yangon

Wake up early for lovely sunrise views and a quiet morning stroll. Breakfast at the hotel before descending back to the Kin Pun base camp. We drive 3.5hrs/110km to BAGO, one of richest archeological sites in Myanmar and the ancient capital of Mon Kingdom. We visit the impressive 55m reclining Buddha of SHWE THA LYAUNG and marvel at the 114m high SHWEMAWDAW PAGODA. Taller than even the famous Shwedagon of Yangon, the golden spire of the Shwemawdaw is a popular pilgrimage site for Buddhist devotees. Then transfer to hotel in Yangon.

DAY 20: Yangon - Yangon airport

Transfer to the airport to take your flight back home.
